In the San Francisco Bay Area, we spend a lot of time outdoors. Our temperate climate allows us, even encourages us to maximize the outside usage of our properties. How do you make the most of the space around your home?

Backyards are an extension of the interior of our home. Patio spaces need to be scaled appropriately for their usage. Outdoor kitchens should allow for easy access from the house but not impede flow or views. Shade structures can be located to serve a variety of purposes. Pool layout factors in location and pedestrian flow while providing a focal point from the home or patio area.

Front yards are the first impression to visitors and passersby. They serve as the greeting point for guests, a spot to chat with the neighbors or perhaps a place where children play. A front yard setting needs to accommodate cars and pedestrians while offering a snapshot of who you are.
